Yes. But we don't start by picking areas at random. First we look at your situation, your target price and what kind of property makes sense for you. Then we look at areas with more judgment.
Both. In a condo I look at how much money the building has set aside for repairs, whether it can charge extra fees, and the inspections the building must pass. In a house: the roof's age, insurance and whether it sits in a flood zone. My construction background helps with both.
No. A licensed inspector does the inspection. My experience helps me notice details, ask better questions and keep you from falling for a home without context.
